Silence is a scarcity in the world

 Mauna Yogam is an absolute necessity for all sincere seekers of Truth. Consistent and prolonged simple silent sittings lead one to Self-attention and surrender.

Self-enquiry and Nidhidhyasana

Self-enquiry is Atma vichara in Sanskrit. And it also is called Nidhidhdhyasana. When one CONSISTENTLY prolongs in Nidhidhyasana, doing Self-enquiry asking "Who am I?", that one is blessed with Self attention and Self abidance.

SURRENDER AND SOLITUDE

Sharanagati - Surrendered-ness

 Absolute and unconditional SURRENDER is the only quality that defines a true seeker, enables the seeker to receive guidance from the innate, indwelling INNER GURU

Unconditional and absolute Surrender

It is easy to talk of surrender, however, it is difficult for most seekers, who do not have the required resolve to walk the path of  simple Being-ness and absolute Surrendered-ness for Self-realization.

Ekanta (Solitude)

In the end, one must rest restlessly in ekanta (solitude) - a complete seclusion from people, phone and books etc.,

This helps one deal with one's own friend and foe called the mind. It is not easy but one is pushed to EKANTA from one's consistent silent sittings and unwavering resolve to Realize.

Self Realization means knowing that,

"I AM EVER-REALIZED"

What is 'NOT' there, cannot be 'ATTAINED'.

What 'IS' ever-there, will always be, no need to ATTAIN.

See... you can ONLY attain, if it is already there.

KNOWING IS BEING;

And, that is: I am ever-Realized

MYSTIC KABIR

  A 15th CENTURY INDIAN MYSTIC, POET & SAINT

pngtree-bodhi-leaf-skeleton-carrier-imag

He lived in the city of Varanasi (Kashi), still influencing and transforming humanity of all sects (hindus, muslims and sikhs) with his powerful poetries of highest TruthsKabir's blessed words are sure to touch any genuine seeker of The Truth.

Though illiterate, Kabir acquired the inner wisdom and spiritual insight from saints and seers of different faiths.

According to the legend, the only word that he ever learned to write was “Rama”.

Well, RAMA (rāmā) is not only about the MAN who lived as the name exclaims! RA means "radiance or light". MA means "mother" or "Mother Nature", or a person in common.

  One of his poetry called "Nar tum jhoot" is for your contemplation:

Nar tum jhoote janam gavaayaa

Jhoote ka koi anth na paayaa

Jhoote ke ghar jhoota aayaa

jhoote te parichaayaa

jhooti thaari jhoota bhojan

jhoote le sab khaayaa

jhoote ke ghar jhoota aayaa

jhoota byaah rachaayaa

jhoota dulha jhooti dulhan

jhoote byaahan aayaa

jhoote nar sab jhooti naari

jhoota baalak aayaa

jhooti chhaati jhooti kokhi

jhoota doodh pilaayaa

Saanch kahun mein, jhoot na bolun

Saanche ko jhutlaayaa

Kahe Kabir soi jan saanchaa,

Apne maahi samaayaa

Nar tum jhoote janam gavaayaa;

Jhoote ka koi anth na paayaa!

O man! You have wasted your life in untruth;

You couldn’t ascertain the consequences of this untruth!

Untruth arrived in the house of untruth;

And got introduced to untruth!

Untrue plate, untrue meal;

Eaten by all untruths!

Untruth arrived in the house of untruth;

And married untruth!

Untrue groom, untrue bride;

Untrue marriage took place!

Untrue are all men, untrue women;

An untrue son arrived!

Untrue bosoms, untrue womb;

Untrue milk was fed!

I’m saying the truth, will not lie;

The ultimate truth has been falsified!

Kabir aphorises, “Only he who

dwells in inner self is true!”

O man! You have wasted your life in untruth;

You couldn’t ascertain the consequences of this untruth!

  Kabir Asks...
 “O parrot… hanging upside down, who’s holding you?”
Parrot Fears
Mystic Kabir poetically says,
"drop the fear and bonding and you’re set free"

“O parrot… hanging upside down, who’s holding you?” - the hunters who capture parrots, first tie a rope between two trees. Along the rope, they fix small sticks. As the parrots land on these sticks, the sticks turn upside down because of their weight. Parrots hang in that upside-down position. The hanging parrot is afraid to let go of the stick, fearing it may fall down and die. It does numerous acts to fix and sit up. But the more it tries, the more it agonizes, fears. In all this fear and frustration, it completely forgets that it has wings and that it can fly. For a bird, there’s absolutely no question of falling down. This imaginary fear, binding & clinging are the causes of human misery too.

"Break free, they are not clinging to you but you are clinging to them"
